Junior Squash March News

We have a couple of things happening over the next month for all our juniors.

This Saturday (18th March) we have our first Squash levels assessment session and Winter Pennant Trials from 9am till 11am.

Squash Levels is a skill based assessment program that focuses on testing a players fitness, coordination and measures how they are developing their squash-specific skills. Level 1 starts off with simply testing a child's ability to throw a ball up and catch it, while level 10 requires a player to be able to consistently hit 100 drives accurately. This program is a great way to motivate kids to improve and move through the levels.

With Summer Pennant finishing up last weekend we are starting trials for the Winter Pennant that will be starting next term. Trials are to establish what team/division the kids should be in, this is open to all level as there is a division for all players.

Additionally, we have two Autumn Junior Camps that will be running in the school holidays. These camps are jam pack with activities on and off court. They run from 9am-3pm, with lunch included.

Our previous camps had 20+ attendees with an array of squash experience so get your name down now!
